These yoga exercises for sagging neck and jowls are safe but if you have a previous condition, you must check with your doctor to make sure you wont irritate that condition.
Kiss The Sky
For this yoga exercise, you will simply tilt your head back and make a kissing sound up towards the ceiling. You should feel this exercise working the jowls. I suggest doing this for 30 seconds without stopping, then rest. Do this yoga exercise 3 times, you should really feel the muscles under your chin and jaw being worked.
Doing this exercise consistently every day should help to tighten the muscles under your chin and jaw. If you aren’t feeling anything from this exercise, try to really tilt your head back and look up at the ceiling while exaggerating the kissing sound for 30 seconds straight and then relaxing. Make sure to do this for 3 total sets.
Place an index finger onto the chin area and then wrap your lips around your teeth, this should hide your teeth with your lips. Now tilt your head back and as you tilt back begin moving your jaw up and down, basically opening and closing your mouth while continuing to hide your teeth with your lips. Do this for 30 seconds and relax. Make sure to do this for a total of 3 sets.
This exercise is not only amazing for lifting and tightening the neck area but it will also greatly help lift the cheeks and tightening the muscles around the mouth area.
For this you will turn the head to one side and slightly tilt your head back a bit. You should feel a stretch and also feel the muscles inside the neck being worked. This will help lift and tighten the upper neck to the side of your face. This will also help strengthen the muscles under the skin and in doing this the skin will become more firm. Hold this position for 30 seconds and relax. Do this yoga exercise for 3 sets. You should feel both a stretch and your neck muscles being worked out. This will help tighten the sagging skin on your neck.
Next turn to the opposite direction and do the same yoga exercise to target the other side of your neck too. Same as before, hold this position for 30 seconds and do this yoga exercise for 3 sets.
Place your hands onto your collar bone. Now stick your bottom lip out a bit and tilt your head back, hold this position for 30 seconds and then relax. Do this yoga exercise for 3 sets. You should feel both a stretch and your neck muscles being worked out. This will help tighten the sagging skin on your neck and also your jowls.
Take 2 fingers and your thumb with both hands and pinch the front of your neck gently then lift all the way up your neck area. So pinched and pull out to let go of the skin, and do this same motion as you continue moving up the neck area. Until you reach under your jaw area.
This helps boost collagen and the plump texture of the skin. Do this for 3 sets, just reset back to the starting position at the bottom of your neck and work your way back up. Don’t pinch or pull the skin too hard, just do it gently and work your way up the neck. This should not hurt your neck and should just help to boost the texture and collagen of the neck and make it more firm.

Is Diet Important To Get Rid Of Sagging Skin In The Neck And Jowls?
Yes! Diet is extremely important. Sagging skin in the neck and jowls is often also caused due to excess fat sitting in the neck and jowls. The reason why exercises for sagging neck and jowls works so well is it helps add muscle into the factor, burns a bit of the fat, evens out the skin tone, along with stretches and tightens the skin.
Diet is a huge factor in what causes neck fat. The most important advice I can give for diet is to consume less calories than you burn. What this means is, if you go to the gym and burn 2,000 calories, you want to make sure you aren’t eating anymore than around 1,800 calories.
This is called a calorie deficit, your body will be forced to find 200 calories to burn, and it will first look into the fat in the body and burn that. To keep it simple, the reason your body burns fat first after calories is because your body always tries to burn sugars first, when your body looks for reserves of energy it will always turn to the fat in the body first.

Now that we got the basics out of the way and you have an idea of calorie deficits, lets talk about what not to eat.
I suggest strictly avoiding the following:
- Sugary foods/drinks (Soda, donuts, candy)
- Bad fats (oily foods such as French Fries, Hamburgers, etc)
The reason I mention only those is because those are the worst things to eat when trying to lose weight, I suggest cutting down on them to at 1 day a week where you eat a few of those foods, just to keep yourself from going insane.
I suggest eating:
- Whole Wheat (Breads, Pasta, etc)
- Healthy Fats (Nuts, Yogurt, Avocados)
- Fruits and Vegetables
- Protein (Chicken, Fish, Turkey, Lean Beef)
Following these simple diet tips will put you on the right track to losing weight, I feel diet is even more important than exercise, you can exercise all you want, but if your diet is bad, you’ll never see good results.
I also highly suggest looking up a calorie deficit calculator to get a better idea of how much you should be eating to lose weight, also tracking your food intake everyday is recommended, there are some great apps to help you with this. I recommend MyFitnessPal.
